ITS Construction Manager - Long Term Contract
- Manage and oversee the construction and installation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) across a major road/tunnel program.
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and compliant delivery.
- Liaise with engineering, design, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless delivery.
We are seeking an experienced ITS Construction Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure project in Melbourne, supporting the successful delivery of complex Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) works across a major road/tunnel program.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the construction and installation of ITS systems (CCTV, VMS, communications, detection systems, SCADA interfaces, OMCS integration)
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery
- Drive construction planning, sequencing, and execution aligned with project schedules
- Ensure compliance with VicRoads / DTP standards, project specifications, and safety requirements
- Liaise with engineering, design, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless delivery across all stages
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve site issues in a timely manner
- Support quality assurance processes, inspections, and handover documentation
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Supervisor within ITS or road infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of ITS systems including communications networks, traffic control systems, and tunnel ITS (desirable)
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects (road, tunnel, rail, or smart motorways)
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, site safety, and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
