A boutique interior design practice known for its refined, contemporary aesthetic and detail-driven approach is seeking a mid-level documentation focused interior designer. You’ll play a key role in delivering a large-scale, high-end residential project, contributing to product research, materials selection, and FF&E coordination. This opportunity is ideal for a designer with a passion for elevated interiors and an eye for quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage comprehensive documentation packages for high-end residential interiors
  • Design and develop concepts in close collaboration with the studio director
  • Produce detailed drawings for custom joinery, furniture and architectural interior elements
  • Coordinate consultants, suppliers and makers to support seamless project delivery
  • Contribute across all phases of projects, from early concept through to construction

Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering high-end residential interior projects with strong aesthetic alignment
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with working knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Strong documentation capability, drafting standards knowledge and attention to fine detail
  • Experience with heritage homes, traditional detailing, decorative layering and bespoke design
  • Self-motivated, organised and confident working independently within a small studio environment
