About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join a regional road maintenance crew based in Goulburn.
This is more than a driving role. You will transport materials, equipment and plant while also assisting the crew with general road maintenance and hands-on site duties. Regional travel and periods away from home are required.
- Pay: $47.79/hour + superannuation
- Location: Goulburn NSW
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate MR trucks across regional worksites
- Transport materials, equipment and crew
- Secure loads using correct load restraint methods
- Tow trailers and equipment within vehicle limits
- Complete daily vehicle and pre-start inspections
- Assist with road maintenance and repair activities
- Perform general labouring when not driving
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Use hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Support traffic management activities when qualified
- Maintain vehicles, equipment and work areas
- Complete required vehicle and site records
- Follow road transport, WHS and site procedures
- Participate in toolbox and pre-start meetings
- Travel and stay away from home when required
About You
- Current unrestricted MR driver's licence or higher
- Current Construction White Card
- Practical load restraint experience required
- Previous MR or heavy vehicle driving experience
- Construction or road maintenance experience preferred
- Traffic Control qualifications highly regarded
- High Risk Work Licences advantageous
- Confident towing trailers and transporting equipment
- Comfortable with manual and physical work
- Willing to assist with labouring duties
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Able to travel and stay away from home
- Reliable with a strong safety focus
- Able to complete and pass police and reference checks
- Valid Australian working rights required - no visa sponsorship available
