The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists to join a highly regarded client-side project management consultancy with an established reputation across Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of retail and industrial projects, this role offers the opportunity to lead projects from inception through to completion while working closely with sophisticated clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.

This position is ideally suited to an experienced Project Manager looking to take ownership of project outcomes, build long-term client relationships and work within a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

About the Role

• Lead the delivery of retail and industrial projects from concept through to completion.
• Act as the client's representative throughout all phases of project delivery.
• Manage project planning, design coordination, procurement, delivery and handover activities.
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, authorities and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, programmes, reporting and risk management processes.
• Drive project outcomes while ensuring quality, commercial and time objectives are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and delivery excellence.
• Mentor and support junior team members across the business.

About You

• Experienced Project Manager with a client-side, consultancy, developer or contractor background.
• Demonstrated experience delivering retail and/or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from planning and design through to construction and handover.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
• Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, contracts and project reporting.
• Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• A proactive, solutions-focused professional who enjoys working closely with clients.

You Will Possess

• Minimum 15 years' experience in Project Management, Development Management or a related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering retail and/or industrial projects.
• Experience managing consultant teams, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Strong contract administration, procurement and commercial management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Property, Engineering or a related discipline.
