- Seeking experienced Underground Mechanical Fitters / Heavy Duty Fitters / Light Vehicle Fitters for WA operations.
- Candidates must hold relevant trade certificates and have a current police clearance.
- Positions available with FIFO rosters from Perth.
Jetcrete is a full service industry leader in the underground mining industry providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia in total ground support and Shotcrete application.
The Position
We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated effective people for our Western Australian Operations for the position of Underground Mechanical Fitters / Heavy Duty Fitters / Light vehicle fitters.
Requirements:
- Hold relevant trade certificate
- Must have a current police clearance
- Must have a current Australian drivers license
- Must be capable of passing pre-employment medical & drug screen
- Hold or able to obtain Surface and Underground inductions
- General heavy machinery experience in servicing & repairs
- Experience with Normet – Caterpillar - Volvo and Toyota will be highly regarded
- Experience in the underground environment highly regarded
- High level of diagnostic skill in hydraulic systems preferred
- Sound auto electrical knowledge
- Self-motivated and have leadership skills highly regarded
- Able to work unsupervised
