With the rapid growth of our business, a full-time qualified civil engineering drafter is sought to join our dynamic team.
You are required to perform the following job duties:
1.Developing a comprehensive range of design and drafting skills using AutoCAD and 12D across various projects, in accordance with the office’s design and drafting standards.
2.Preparing detailed design drawings and technical documentation for roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage, water reticulation systems, and associated infrastructure.
3.Applying a combination of conventional and modified drafting methods and techniques to address complex design challenges across different projects.
4.Ensuring that design documentation integrates relevant disciplines, including urban planning, surveying, traffic engineering, electrical services, and landscaping.
5.Conducting field investigations to interpret project instructions, collect relevant information, and calculate and analyse data required for civil engineering design.
6.Collaborating with project managers and engineers to review drawings and ensure compliance with applicable design standards, technical requirements, and client specifications.
7.Communicating and coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders regarding site conditions, manufacturing quality control, and on-site work supervision to ensure construction complies with approved design drawings.
8.Assisting in monitoring project performance, including scope, quality, budget, and schedule, to support successful project delivery, profitability, and consistent achievement of client expectations.
9.Gathering and reviewing information from soil investigations, traffic surveys, and other relevant technical assessment reports to support design development and project planning
