The Role
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Retail Managers to oversee the daily operations of our store. In this role, you will take ownership of the business's operational success by driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Determine the optimal product mix, monitor stock levels, and establish high customer service standards.
Formulate and implement effective purchasing and marketing policies to drive continuous store growth.
Promote and advertise the store's goods and services to maximize community engagement and sales.
Maintain precise records of stock levels, financial transactions, and daily operational reports.
Control the selection, training, rostering, and ongoing supervision of retail staff.
Undertake strategic budgeting for the establishment and monitor financial performance against targets.
Ensure the store maintains strict compliance with all occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations and trading laws.
Actively sell goods and services to customers while providing expert advice on product use.
Requirements
Proven and extensive experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager, or in a similar senior retail leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, formulate retail strategies, and analyze financial reports.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to guide a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
A relevant qualification (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree) in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is highly regarded.
Valid working rights in Australia.
