About the role
The Warehouse Operator & Counter Sales (Gyprock) roleis a Full-time position, based at Narangba, QLD. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In this role you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
- Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
- Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
- Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
- Attend to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday, between 4:00am and 3:00pm (9-hour shift).
Additional hours worked beyond the standard 38-hour week are paid at overtime rates, with opportunities for extra earnings when business.
