Fitter

Join our dynamic team at Masterflow, a leading provider of HVAC solutions dedicated to delivering high-quality services to commercial and industrial clients. We specialize in maintaining and servicing HVAC plantroom equipment, including pumps, heat exchangers and chillers to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

As a Fitter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of different brand of pumps and other HVAC equipment that Masterflow sell. Part of your job will be assembling new pump and Plate Heat Exchangers from components that Masterflow import from overseas suppliers. This will include a focus on quality checks throughout the assembly process. Final finishing coats will then be applied and testing of same before you will hand the finished product to our warehouse team.

Responsibilities:

• Laser alignments, repairs and maintenance for pumps and compressors
• Machining of pump parts
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on pumps and related equipment.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot on Pressurisation units and expansions vessels on hydronic systems.
• Assemble new Pumps and Heat Exchanger assembly, welding and painting and other related fitting duties in the factory as required.
• Operate lathe and other machinery as required for fitting tasks
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanical trade fitter.
• Proven experience on operating lathe and welder.
• Relevant certifications such as white card.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
