About Jacinth-Ambrosia 
Jacinth-Ambrosia is located 270 kilometres north of Ceduna. It is the world’s largest source of zircon, and a Tier 1 deposit with extensive reserves.  It is the first mining development in a mixed use regional reserve – the Yellabina Regional Reserve – in South Australia, with the operation demonstrating a commitment to high environmental standards, including progressive land rehabilitation, as well as a commitment to indigenous employment, which currently comprises 20 per cent of the work force. Jacinth-Ambrosia site has a fully equipped modern camp with facilities including a gym, pool, sports courts, recreation rooms, Wi-Fi and Foxtel.

About The Role
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our Jacinth-Ambrosia mine. The position is offered as a full-time permanent position based at the mine site, working an 8 days on/ 6 days off/ 7 nights on/ 7 days off roster arrangement, fly in/fly out from Adelaide or Ceduna. Full camp facilities and flights from Adelaide or Ceduna are provided.
We are looking for a self-motivated person who is focused on undertaking safe and efficient operational practices in order to maximise production and quality of output in accordance with established Iluka standards, including safety and environmental procedures. 

Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Operating surface mobile equipment safely and efficiently

• Operation of fixed plant mineral separation apparatus

• Ensuring timely and effective maintenance is reported and undertaken on fixed plant and SME

• Conducting individual and group risk and hazard assessments

• Control of hazards in a safe and appropriate method

Extra consideration will be given to the following desired qualifications and experience:

• Experience in a processing operation, particularly in control room operations

• Experience in tailings disposal operations

• Machinery Tickets: Excavator, IT Loader, Skid Steer

• Gold Card: Tele-handler

• High Risk Work Licences: Dogging, Non-Slew Crane, Basic Rigging, Elevated Work Platform

• Poly-welding Tickets: EF Welding, Butt Welding

• Confined Space Entry Permit

• First Aid and CPR training
