Your new company
Our client is a well-established civil contractor delivering key infrastructure and subdivision projects across Adelaide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor / Leading Hand with a strong background in SA Water assets, stormwater, sewer and subdivision works to join their team.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee crews on site, coordinate daily works and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your new role
Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, you will take ownership of daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who can lead crews from the front while remaining actively involved in site works when required. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating site crews and subcontractors
- Delivering SA Water, sewer, stormwater and subdivision works
- Maintaining safety, quality and programme requirements
- Operating plant and equipment where required
- Leading by example and contributing to site works alongside the crew
- Liaising with project stakeholders and reporting site progress
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Civil Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand
- Strong background in SA Water infrastructure, stormwater, sewer and subdivision projects
- Ability to manage and motivate site crews
- Hands-on attitude with a willingness to work alongside the team
- Plant tickets highly regarded, particularly Excavator and Loader
- Strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes
