Your new role
Due to continued growth, opportunities are available for both Intermediate and Senior Accountants.Working closely with clients and senior staff, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and SMSFs
- Managing a portfolio of SME clients across various industries, including healthcare
- Providing business advisory and tax compliance support
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication
- Attending client meetings and acting as a trusted point of contact
- Assisting with workflow management and mentoring junior team members (Senior Accountant)
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ years' experience (Intermediate) or 4+ years' experience (Senior) within public practice accounting
- CA or CPA commenced, completed or working towards completion
- Strong tax and business services compliance knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and building trusted relationships
- A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Experience using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software
