Hays Recruitment are seeking a HC Truck Driver for a manufacturing business based in Westbury, Tasmania. Your new role
As a HC Driver, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of products across local and intrastate routes, ensuring every shipment is completed on time and to the highest standard. Working with a modern, well-maintained fleet, you will be responsible for loading, transporting and unloading goods while maintaining product quality and ensuring safe weight distribution and storage. You'll operate in full compliance with road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements and workplace health and safety procedures, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting any incidents or vehicle issues. This hands-on role also involves assisting with delivery planning, maintaining vehicles and work areas in a clean and serviceable condition and providing excellent customer service to support the smooth and efficient operation of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A current HC licence (essential)
- Demonstrated driving experience with a strong safety record
- A solid commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Good knowledge of Tasmanian roads and conditions
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently
- A forklift licence (desirable, but not essential).
