About Our Client
Our client is seeking a reliable Parks and Gardens Labourer to join their team in Mackay. This role involves maintaining parks, gardens and public spaces, ensuring community facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintaining parks, gardens, footpaths, playgrounds and public seating areas.
- Inspecting park infrastructure and reporting any damage or maintenance requirements.
- Cleaning, maintaining and repairing park and garden facilities as directed.
- Operating small plant, power tools and equipment used for grounds maintenance.
- Completing amenities and public infrastructure cleaning duties.
- Assisting with scheduled maintenance works and projects.
- Using electronic devices to record work orders and communicate with the team.
- Maintaining clean, safe and presentable public spaces.
What You Will Need
- Current HR driver's licence.
- Experience in labouring, parks and gardens, grounds maintenance or a similar role.
- Ability to safely operate basic power tools and equipment.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
