Job description
Forklift / Production Operator
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Production Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual with forklift experience to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift Details
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Roster: 2 Days On, 2 Days Off
- Ongoing casual opportunity with potential for long-term employment
Key Responsibilities
- Complete packing activities for finished goods and warehouse/stores operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within the production area.
- Operate production equipment, including electronic pallet jacks, tape machines, and other machinery as required.
- Monitor stock levels and report material shortages to maintain production efficiency.
- Adhere to GMP requirements, site safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and workplace safety.
Skills & Experience
- Current and valid LF Forklift Licence.
- Minimum 1 year forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Experience operating warehouse or production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
