Training Business Manager - Rockhampton Qld

Are you looking for a new challenge?

This role will see you managing all aspects of Adult English Skills and Employment (AMEP / SEE) to ensure success and meet contract requirements for the region.

You will mentor and support staff and deliver compliant training services while being supported by a very experienced and inclusive Senior Management team.

The opportunity

  • Lead and manage a region with a strong AMEP/SEE presence

  • Put your relationship skills to good use working with referral agencies, employers and community associations to increase participation

  • Management of staff to support them and ensure success in their roles

  • Ensure effective utilisation of trainers, classrooms and class scheduling to maximise our offering through the region

About you

  • Proven experience in managing teams to drive positive results and meet budget requirements. Experience in the education/training sector is preferred, but not compulsory

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of team management experience is required

  • Review, manage and be accountable for KPI's and the plan for your region

  • Experience and ability to empower, engage and support your team across multiple locations by building effective and positive working relationships

  • Have a strong grasp on business development and the ability to drive KPI's to achieve desired outcomes

  • Exposure to business development experience is required

  • Knowledge of government training contracts and compliance requirements would be advantageous

  • A Working with Children Check is required before commencement of employment.
