Bookkeeper

The Role:
This is a rare opportunity to join this established accounting firm undertaking a full function bookkeeping role. This role will suit someone who has come from working in an accounting firm and is accustomed to managing a client portfolio. You will be responsible for the following: 

• Preparation of BAS/IAS
• Reconciliations – Bank, GST and Payroll
• Completing end of year processes
• Undertaking the payroll function for clients
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Providing training to clients
• Assisting clients with queries

Skills & Experience:
You must have experience working in an accounting firm to be considered for this role.  The other key attributes my client is seeking are:

• Excellent communication skills
• Professional attitude and commitment to providing an excellent client experience
• Cert IV qualifications and Xero Certification
• Experience using Xero and MYOB
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Experience using the Microsoft Suite
