Employment Type: Fixed-Term Full-Time (Shift Work)
Salary: $138,978 - $194,675 p.a. pro rata + 12% super + salary packaging
Start Date: 2 November 2026
About the Role
Join an accredited O&G service in a major regional hospital in Northern Tasmania. The unit manages around 1,600 births annually and provides comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, including advanced laparoscopic and surgical services. Suitable for Advanced Trainees, Unaccredited Registrars and SIMGs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day O&G patient care.
- Assist with operative, inpatient and postoperative management.
- Work under specialist supervision.
- Supervise junior doctors and medical students.
- Participate in education and professional development.
Essential Criteria
- General or limited Medical Board of Australia registration (or eligibility).
- Working With Children Registration (or eligibility).
- Registrar-level O&G experience.
