Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters with strong mechanical and Hydraulics experience, Installing pipes, valves and hydraulic on Trucks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance, repairs, and servicing of Asphalt Trucks
- Machining and Assembly of mechanical parts
- Support installations of Automation equipment and machinery
- Carry out preventative maintenance and fault finding activities
- Commissioning work as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions to complete tasks safely and accurately
- Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS requirements, quality standards, and site procedures
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential)
- Relevant trade qualification (highly regarded)
- Experience in heavy industrial environments (advantage)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
- Basic welding skills (advantage)
- Basic Machining skills (advantage)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
