WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Depending on the assignment, you could be involved in:
- Mechanical equipment installation, removal and replacement
- Machinery strip-downs, repairs and rebuilds
- Planned & preventative maintenance
- Breakdown repairs and fault-finding
- Mechanical diagnostics
- Bearings, shafts, motors and component replacement
- Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Scheduled maintenance programs
- MIG, ARC or TIG welding where required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters who bring:
- 6+ years’ Mechanical Fitting experience (highly regarded)
- Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification
- Industrial, manufacturing, maintenance or similar experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- Hydraulic & pneumatic experience
- Welding skills MIG, ARC or TIG advantageous
- Strong safety mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
