- Provide nursing support for childhood and travel vaccinations.
- Assist with procedures and emergency care in a general practice setting.
- Maintain clinical standards and manage treatment room operations.
About the role
The successful applicant will be trained and supported in all aspects of GP nursing, including childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, flu and COVID-19 vaccination programs, assisting with procedures, emergency care, cold chain management, stock control, ECG and spirometry, chaperone duties, maintaining treatment room and clinical standards, wound management, care plans (CDM), health assessments, assisting doctors with minor procedures, and other tasks associated with general practice nursing.

About you

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Best Practice software experience (desirable)

Understanding of Chronic Disease Management Plans, Asthma and Diabetes Cycle of Care, and MBS item optimisation (desirable)
