Your new role
As Senior Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising project schedules across a portfolio of capital projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Specialist, you'll work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and key stakeholders to provide planning, forecasting and schedule control support. You'll play a key role in supporting project planning, performance tracking and investment decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 Professional.Experience delivering projects within chemical processing, manufacturing or mineral processing industries will be highly regarded.Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Planning role within a project delivery environment.Demonstrated experience developing and managing detailed schedules for major capital projects.Strong understanding of project controls, planning methodologies and schedule governance.Experience supporting project delivery within resources, energy, processing or manufacturing environments.Ability to perform schedule analysis, forecasting and progress reporting.Experience supporting schedule risk assessments and contingency planning.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multidisciplinary project teams.Well-developed presentation, communication and influencing skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.Tertiary qualification in Engineering, or significant relevant industry experience.
