Council Parks & Gardens worker | Sydney CBD$40-$45 per hour + Super | 5 Positions Available
Are you looking for a rewarding outdoor role with excellent pay and the opportunity to work in some of Sydney's most iconic parks and open spaces?We are currently seeking a Parks & Gardens worker to join a busy team responsible for maintaining parks, gardens, sports fields and public open spaces across the Sydney CBD area.Whether you're an experienced grounds maintenance worker or hold a Certificate III in Horticulture, we encourage you to apply.
What's on Offer?$45 per hour + Super (Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent)
$40 per hour + Super (Experienced, nonqualified applicants)
5 positions available Full-time hours with ongoing opportunities
Work outdoors in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General parks and garden maintenance
• Mowing, edging and brush cutting
• Operating mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and other grounds maintenance equipment
• Assisting with landscaping and minor maintenance works
• Maintaining parks, open spaces and public infrastructure
• Following safe work practices and procedures

About You

• Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience operating mowers, edgers, trimmers and other parks equipment
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable with a positive attitude
• Current Class C Driving Licence (essential)
• MR or HR Licence highly regarded

Pre-Employment Requirements
