Council Bush Regenerator | Environmental & Conservation Worker
$44.81/hour + Super

Are you passionate about working outdoors and making a positive impact on the environment?
The council is seeking a motivatedBush Regenerator to join a team maintaining and restoring natural bushland across the western Sydney area. This is a varied, hands-on role, working across multiple sites each week, helping protect and enhance native vegetation and ecosystems.
Whether you have experience in bush regeneration, conservation, horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labouring, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

  • Weed control and invasive species management
  • Herbicide spraying in accordance with safety requirements
  • Native tree and shrub planting
  • Pruning and vegetation management
  • Bushland restoration and conservation work
  • Following site work instructions and environmental management plans
  • Working across a variety of bushland and environmental restoration sites

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in bush regeneration, horticulture, landscaping, conservation, parks maintenance, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labouring is highly regarded
  • Current Driving Licence, white card and chemical certificate
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
