Your new role

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on underground mobile plant Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Troubleshooting CANBUS, PLC and OEM electrical systems Repair and installation of wiring harnesses, sensors and control systems Calibration and setup of OEM monitoring systems Heavy earthmoving equipment electrical repairs Breakdown response and field service support underground Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals Completing maintenance reports and work orders accurately Ensuring compliance with site safety and statutory requirements

EquipmentYou will be working on a variety of underground mining equipment, including:

  • Sandvik development and production drills
  • Sandvik DD series jumbos
  • Sandvik DL series long-hole drills
  • Sandvik loaders and underground trucks
  • Epiroc production and development drill rigs
  • Normet support equipment
  • Ancillary underground mining equipment

Previous experience on Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT or Normet equipment will be highly regarded.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Australian recognised Auto Electrician Trade Qualification
  • Previous underground mining experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on heavy mobile equipment
  • Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Full Australian working rights
