C&H Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our client's team based at their Smithfield workshop.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson looking for ongoing work with a well-established company specialising in custom metal fabrication and manufacturing.

About the Role:

• Fabrication and assembly of structural steel and metal components
• MIG welding and general fabrication duties
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Cutting, measuring and preparing materials
• Using hand and power tools
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Working both independently and within a team

Requirements:

• Trade Qualification in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent experience
• Strong MIG welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
• Experience using various hand and power tools
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
