GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our experienced team at our Hurstville clinic on a full-time basis until December 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality radiation therapy while working with contemporary technology and treatment techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to rotate across all areas of the department, including treatment and planning, with exposure to our Elekta Unity MR Linac.
We offer a competitive annual salary of up to $130,653 + superannuation, dependent on experience.
More specifically, you will:
- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and planning in accordance with clinical protocols and best practice.
- Undertake treatment, simulation and planning responsibilities across the department.
- Work collaboratively as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care.
- Ensure radiation therapy processes and procedures are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and administration in a professional and timely manner.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and the continuous improvement of our clinical services.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated technical competence across radiation therapy treatment, simulation and planning.
- Knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
- An interest in continuing to develop professionally across all areas of the department, including planning and the Elekta Unity MR Linac.
- Experience with the Monaco Treatment Planning System would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A patient-focused approach and genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care.
