About the Role
- This Payroll Team Lead position is an excellent opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within a large, supportive team. You will manage a team of Payroll Officers while overseeing end-to-end payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll expertise who is passionate about career growth and leadership.
Duties:
- Manage a team of Payroll Officers processing high volume complex pay runs
- Interpret complex EBA's and Awards
- Demonstrate high-volume payroll processing
- Utilise strong payroll system knowledge
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Address all payroll-related queries
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a large volume, complex payroll environment
- Experience with PayGlobal or UKG is desirable
- Full-function payroll experience
- Prior leadership experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of superannuation & payroll tax
- Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of complex EBAs & Awards
