Your new role

  • Supervising mechanical installation and commissioning activities onsite
  • Leading and coordinating tradespeople, contractors and project personnel
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to schedule
  • Monitoring productivity, quality and project performance across assigned work fronts
  • Interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications and project documentation
  • Conducting pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety interactions
  • Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures, project requirements and quality standards
  • Managing labour, equipment and resources to support project milestones
  • Working closely with project stakeholders to deliver a successful installation
  • Promoting and maintaining a strong safety-first culture across the workforce

What you'll need to succeed

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within mining, industrial, shutdown, maintenance or construction environments
  • Proven leadership experience managing mechanical teams on major projects or shutdowns
  • Strong understanding of mechanical installation, maintenance and project delivery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and site-specific requirements
