Your new role
As a Business Analyst, you will work across a diverse portfolio of systems projects, partnering with operational stakeholders, project teams, vendors and technology specialists to deliver business outcomes. You'll play a critical role in understanding business needs, assessing impacts and translating requirements into practical solutions across a range of production-focused platforms.
Projects will include system integrations, reporting improvements, product upgrades and operational system enhancements supporting areas such as scheduling, rostering, workforce planning, decision management and production operations.
Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with stakeholders across operations, technology and project teams
• Facilitating workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Eliciting, documenting and managing business and functional requirements
• Conducting impact assessments and gap analysis
• Mapping current and future state business processes
• Developing business requirements documents, functional specifications and user stories
• Supporting solution design activities with technical teams and vendors
• Managing requirements traceability throughout project delivery
• Assisting with testing, business readiness and implementation activities
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements
• Strong capability in impact analysis and business process mapping
• Experience supporting system implementation, integration or upgrade projects
• Excellent communication, facilitation and workshop management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams

Highly regarded:

• Experience within the mining, resources or heavy industry sectors
• Exposure to operational or production systems
• Experience working with scheduling, rostering, workforce management or decision support platforms
• Exposure to reporting, data or systems integration projects
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments

What you'll get in return
