This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional who enjoys working at the intersection of project finance, contract management and stakeholder engagement.Your New RoleAs a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will provide financial oversight and commercial guidance across a portfolio of significant infrastructure projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Contractors and Finance teams, you will help ensure robust financial controls, contract compliance and sound commercial decision-making.Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing contractor payment claims and invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance and contractual alignment
• Assessing supporting documentation and recommending approval of contractor payments
• Monitoring project budgets, expenditure and financial performance
• Preparing monthly financial reports, forecasts and cash flow projections
• Tracking project costs and identifying financial risks, trends and variances
• Reviewing contractor performance against KPIs and contractual obligations
• Managing contract variations and assessing the financial impact of scope changes
• Providing commercial advice on contracts, procurement decisions, financial risks and disputes
• Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and governance standards
• Building strong relationships with project teams and providing practical financial insights to support decision-making

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong commercial acumen combined with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.You will ideally bring:

• Experience in project finance, commercial management, contract administration or commercial analysis
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cost control
• Experience reviewing and interpreting complex contracts and commercial agreements
• The ability to analyse project financial data and identify risks, trends and opportunities
• Strong understanding of contract compliance, contractor management and project governance
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders when required
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• A proactive, detail-focused and solutions-oriented approach
