At Hays, we are currently partnering with a well-established organisation based in Maroochydore to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for a 6-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced environment and support a high-performing team during a key period.
Your new role

Process end-to-end payroll for a high-volume workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across each pay cycle Manage all aspects of payroll from data entry through to final pay processing Perform payroll reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve queries efficiently Maintain accurate employee payroll records within internal systems Respond to and resolve payroll enquiries in a professional and timely manner

What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 3 years experience in high-volume payroll processingStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience with Micropay and/or Humanforce (highly regarded)Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWhat you'll get in return
