Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Defect & Incident Triage Manager to join a major transformation program on an initial 6-month contract based in Geelong, with hybrid working arrangements available.

• In this role, you will act as the central coordination point for the assessment, prioritisation, allocation, and management of testing defects and production incidents. Working closely with project managers, test leads, business stakeholders, and delivery teams, you will ensure high-priority issues are identified early, appropriately escalated, and resolved efficiently to support successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
• Assessing and prioritising defects and incidents based on risk, complexity, urgency, and business impact.
• Managing and overseeing defect and incident workflows across multiple delivery teams.
• Monitoring and maintaining Jira and ServiceNow records to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.
• Coordinating with project and testing teams to optimise resource allocation and delivery timelines.
• Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and rapid issue resolution.
• Analysing defect and incident trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting governance, quality assurance, and audit activities.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in test management, defect management, or incident triage leadership within complex technology environments.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with the ability to assess risk and manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated experience working with Agile delivery teams and large-scale technology programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Experience using tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar workflow and case management platforms.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Software Development, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and integrated application environments will be highly regarded.
