Port Melbourne | $36-$40 per Hour | Full-Time Hours | Immediate Start
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering business based in Port Melbourne. This casual position offers consistent full-time hours (7:00am - 3:00pm) with the potential for overtime.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse operations.

The Role
Working within a busy warehouse environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, unloading and putting away incoming goods
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Conducting stock counts and inventory checks
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Operating a forklift as required
- Assisting with shipping and receiving activities
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Supporting continuous improvement of warehouse processes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous warehouse experience in receiving, picking, packing or dispatch
- A current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
Desirable Experience
- SAP experience
- MRP system experience
- Inventory management experience
- Cycle counting and stock control experience
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
