What You Will Be Doing
You will be working across processing facilities, local mine sites, and industrial locations, assisting with abrasive blasting and maintenance activities while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Sandblasting structural steel, plant machinery, and industrial equipment
- Assisting with general labouring and sandblasting maintenance duties
- Typical Monday-Friday roster for local candidates, subject to change depending on projects/willingness to work weekends.
- FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville for experienced sandblasters
What You Will Need
- Previous blasting experience, preferrably sandblasting (highly desirable)
- Ability to work long shifts up to 12 hours in hot conditions
- Desire to potentially work in Confined Spaces (allowances apply)
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Ability to pass a police check and pre-employment medical testing
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
