About Our Client:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their manufacturing operation in Kewdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs, servicing and maintenance of manufacturing plant and associated equipment, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and minimal downtime.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician with experience in a manufacturing or production environment. The client ideally requires someone with exposure to control systems and instrumentation, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
What You Will Be Doing:
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, servicing and maintenance across manufacturing plant and associated equipment. You will attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
Your duties will include:
Promptly carrying out repairs, servicing and maintenance of manufacturing plant and associated equipment
Attending to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing electrical equipment
Installing and testing electrical switchboards
Connecting and testing electrical wiring to plant and equipment
Repairing electrical equipment including motors, switchboards and lighting
Maintaining all tools and equipment in an orderly and serviceable condition
Ensuring all electrical activities are completed appropriately, adequately and safely
Roster: Day Shift
Monday to Friday
Ongoing work
What You Will Need:
Relevant electrical trade qualification
Current WA Electrical Licence
Demonstrated experience in a similar Electrical role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
Good technical knowledge of manufacturing or production processes
Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment and breakdowns
Experience installing and testing electrical switchboards
Experience connecting and testing electrical wiring to plant and equipment
