Project Manager (Civil Infrastructure)
- Lead the planning, procurement and delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects.
- Manage multiple civil infrastructure projects concurrently, with a focus on water infrastructure.
- Engage with stakeholders and ensure compliance with local government regulations.
LO-GO Appointments is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 6-month assignment with a regional Council in North West Queensland.
The role will lead the planning, procurement and delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects across Council's portfolio. Experience delivering water infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
Required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure or capital works projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience delivering water, wastewater, stormwater or other water infrastructure projects will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of local government operations and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current Driver’s License and Construction Industry White Card
Desirable:
- AIPM, PBOK or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience working in regional or remote communities.
- Knowledge of environmental and cultural heritage considerations in project delivery.
