Job Description

• Provide desktop support for hardware, software and user access issues.
• Diagnose and resolve common desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral faults.
• Set up, configure and maintain workstations to support employee needs.
• Install approved software and apply standard updates to desktop devices.
• Respond to technology requests and provide clear updates to users.
• Record incidents, actions and resolutions to maintain accurate support records.
• Escalate complex technical issues through the appropriate support channels.
• Help maintain reliable technology services across the Perth workplace.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Desktop Engineer' should have:

• Confidence communicating technical information in clear, straightforward language.
• Practical experience providing desktop and end-user technology support.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and peripheral issues.
• Experience setting up and configuring desktop computers and laptops.
• Working knowledge of installing software and completing routine device updates.
• Ability to document support requests, troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
