Design Coordinator
KEY POINTS WE FOUND
- Coordinate design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the link between architects, engineers, and construction teams.
- Manage regulatory compliance and facilitate design reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Working through/resolving RFI’s from the construction team and in-house design team
- Act as the link between architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
- Ensure design intent aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and value engineering.
- Manage regulatory compliance, including Australian Standards, and local council requirements.
- Coordinate and manage design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support tendering and procurement by reviewing design elements.
- Work with the construction team to resolve design issues on-site
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction management, architecture, design.
- Main Contractor Building experience ideally in apartment, student accommodation and age care
- Experience working on complex and challenging projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
