As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Corporate General Manager - Investment, Mergers & Acquisitions to help drive our next phase of growth.
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this strategic executive leadership position will play a critical role in shaping KGF's long-term growth agenda. You will be responsible for leading corporate strategy, investment activities, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, capital management and strategic business development initiatives across the Group.
Working closely with the Board, Global Management Team, shareholders and financial institutions, you will identify, evaluate and execute growth opportunities that enhance market position and maximise shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute KGF's long-term corporate growth strategy.
- Identify and assess organic growth, acquisition and strategic investment opportunities.
- Lead commercial due diligence, valuation and transaction activities.
- Manage post-acquisition integration and performance evaluation.
- Drive equity and debt capital raising initiatives to support business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, shareholders, banks and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Board and executive leadership team.
- Ensure corporate activities comply with governance, legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Represent KGF in investor, banking, commercial and corporate forums.
About You
You are a highly commercial executive with a proven track record of delivering growth through strategic planning, investment management and corporate transactions.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Agribusiness or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience in corporate strategy, investments, mergers and acquisitions.
- Demonstrated success leading business growth, transformation and innovation initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience engaging with Boards, shareholders and executive stakeholders.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience within agribusiness, food manufacturing, protein processing or related sectors will be highly regarded.
- A results-focused leadership style with exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
