About the company
Boercon Pty Ltd is a construction contractor and service provider. The company works in conjunction with key companies, providing contractors such as carpenters and concrete workers and services such as formwork to a wide range of construction projects.
We are currently looking for a Full time- Construction Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Determine and organise allocation of funds, labour, materials and other necessary resources for each construction project.
• Control the timeline, expenses, resources and quality of construction projects.
• Direct resources ensuring construction materials are purchased and delivered on time, manpower is sufficient and tools and equipment are available.
• Collaborate with construction professionals and other skilled workers.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers and architects.
• Manage the project schedule and provide regular updates to all parties concerned.
• Arrange submission of construction plans and coordinate necessary inspections by local authorities.
• Monitor progress of construction projects and discuss with stakeholders every aspect of the construction process.
• Understand and evaluate blueprints and architectural sketches.
• Supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
• Define, authorise and assign project roles and their responsibilities and authorities.
• Develop proposals and manage contract offers.
• Ensure WHS policies and procedures are adhered to and guarantee compliance with all building, safety and governmental regulations.
• Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
• Oversee implementation of plans and manage project variations or negotiate with concerned parties, whenever necessary.
• Present regular business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
• Develop, implement and evaluate training and skill development platforms.
• Determine and ensure that procurement process, construction plans, implementation phase and timeline of projects align with the expected and envisioned construction project outcome.
• Resolve and facilitate solutions to any specific construction project issues, if necessary.
• Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions to hired subcontractors.
• Design and apply assessment tools to measure performance of workers and determine success of construction projects.
• Establish and maintain the project management plan and ensure it is understood and effectively implemented throughout the project.
• Ensure that all staff including contractors possess all qualifications and certificates for their roles.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, demonstrating successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $70,000-90,000 PLUS Superannuation
