The Centre for Clinical Psychology is group practice located in Carlton. We have a strong, collaborative, sociable team and we are looking for a clinical psychologist (or registrar) to join us four-days a week (Mon, Tues, Wed, Friday – with the option to ad Thursday afternoon). We are looking for someone to make an immediate start (Sept/Oct 2026).

We have a strong clinical focus upon the treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), perinatal mental health, as well as anxiety and depression and other conditions common in private practice. We support our team in the use of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, this is a strong, evidence-based approach to working with PTSD. You will receive two days of training in CPT and ongoing supervision to reach provider status.
We are pleased to provide all of our psychologists with a high level of learning support. In addition to attending CPT training, you will also receive weekly group trauma-focussed supervision, regular individual supervision and a high level of administration and practice management support.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology
- A desire to learn and grow you skills in trauma and other psychological interventions
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- A desire to join a friendly, energetic team culture
- Experience working with trauma and/or perinatal mental health populations is highly desired
