Are you an experienced Client Intake Coordinator looking to make a meaningful difference for people accessing disability, healthcare and community services?
We’re currently recruiting for a Client Intake Coordinator to join a well-established healthcare and community services organisation in Sydney. This is an opportunity to be the first point of contact for clients and their families, supporting them through the intake and onboarding process while working closely with internal teams, support coordinators and external stakeholders.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for managing the client intake and onboarding process, ensuring clients receive a welcoming, professional and person-centred experience from their initial enquiry through to service commencement.
The role will involve conducting initial intake conversations, gathering relevant client information, completing documentation, coordinating referrals and working with internal teams to ensure clients are connected with appropriate services and supports.
You’ll also liaise with clients, families, Support Coordinators, healthcare professionals and community organisations while maintaining accurate records and ensuring privacy and confidentiality requirements are met.
About YouWe’re looking for an organised, compassionate and experienced professional who can confidently manage client enquiries, referrals and competing priorities in a busy healthcare or community services environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in client intake, coordination, administration or a similar client-facing role
- Experience within healthcare, disability, aged care, community services or a related sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using client management or case management systems
- Understanding of person-centred practice
- Knowledge of NDIS and disability services will be highly regarded
- Experience liaising with clients, families and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
