Your new role
As a Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse range of civil engineering projects, including urban development, infrastructure, storm-water management, building developments, and general civil works.Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Preparing and reviewing design documentation, drawings, and technical reports in accordance with Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
• Undertaking civil design and modelling using software such as AutoCAD, 12d, DRAINS, and MUSIC.
• Liaising with clients, councils, and service authorities to support successful project outcomes.
• Assisting senior engineers with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
• Conducting site inspections and providing construction-phase support as required.
• Participating in quality assurance and safety processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across design and project delivery activities.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will provide professional expertise, practical solutions, and trusted support that helps deliver outstanding outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 4 years' local civil design experience.
• Experience delivering land development, infrastructure, storm-water, and civil projects.
• Proficiency in 12d, AutoCAD, DRAINS, and MUSIC software.
• A strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and local government requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in project delivery and client-facing environments.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and project deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse organisation.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
• Chartered, RPEQ, or Professional Engineering registration (or working towards these qualifications) will be highly regarded.
