Full-Time | Permanent
$165,000 – $185,000 + Superannuation | Free Parking
Lead a new state-of-the-art surgical facility!
An exciting senior leadership opportunity is available for an experienced CEO or Director of Nursing to join a state-of-the-art surgical facility on the Sunshine Coast.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished healthcare leader to play a key role in establishing the facility, developing its clinical and operational framework, and building a high-performing team from the ground up. The successful candidate will bring strong senior leadership experience together with a solid perioperative background and proven ophthalmology experience.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will have responsibility for the overall clinical and operational leadership of the facility, including:
- Providing strategic and operational leadership across the facility
- Establishing and developing a high-performing nursing and clinical team
- Leading recruitment, workforce planning and staff development
- Developing and implementing clinical policies, procedures and governance frameworks
- Driving high standards of clinical care, patient safety and quality
- Maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Working collaboratively with surgeons, VMOs, anaesthetists and key stakeholders
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the facility
About You
This is a specialist leadership position and ophthalmology experience and a strong perioperative background are essential.
We are seeking an experienced healthcare leader with:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Proven ophthalmology experience – essential
- Strong perioperative/theatre experience – essential
- Minimum 3 years' senior healthcare leadership experience, such as DON, ADON, Perioperative Services Manager, Clinical Services Manager, CEO or similar
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality and patient safety
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing clinical teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
- The ability to establish strong systems, processes and culture within a growing facility
