We’re on the lookout for Practice Nurse to join our friendly, patient-focused team on a permanent part time basis. Deliver high-quality care, support patient health, and work closely with GPs and our amazing practice team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Triage and clinical assessment of patients
- Holistic health checks, screening, and preventative care
- Chronic disease management, wound care, minor procedures, and vaccinations
- Diagnostic services (ECGs, INR, glucose monitoring)
- Manage recalls and reminders, health promotion, and patient education
- Ordering, stock rotation, and maintenance of clinical systems
- Support practice accreditation, clinical risk systems, and compliance with WHS, infection control, and cold-chain standards
- Collaborate with GPs, allied health, nurses, and admin staff
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement, and professional development
Who We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Current AHPRA registration (Div 1 Nurse)
- Demonstrated clinical competence and working within scope of practice
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Bonus Points:
- Primary care/general practice experience
- Further education in nursing
- Membership of a professional body (e.g. APNA)
- Experience with medical software systems
