CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join a busy, well-equipped workshop team. Due to continued business growth and an increased project workload, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential to transition into permanent employment.
If you’re confident working with mild and stainless steel, can produce high-quality MIG and TIG welds, and enjoy workshop-based fabrication, we want to hear from you.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
- $50/hr + penalties
- 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Ongoing casual role with potential to go permanent
- Potential overtime as project requirements increase
- Clean, modern and well-equipped workshop
THE ROLE
- Fabrication and welding of mild steel and stainless steel
- Complete high-quality MIG and TIG welding
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabricate to specification
- Prepare materials, set up equipment and operate workshop machinery/tools
- Conduct quality inspections and complete fabrication to required standards
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Australian-recognised Boilermaker/Welder Trade Qualification
- Strong workshop fabrication experience with MIG & TIG welding
- Experience working with mild and stainless steel
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team to meet production deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to successfully complete a weld test prior to placement
- Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, quality and housekeeping
- Forklift Licence advantageous
- White Card preferred
