A leading Australian manufacturing company specializing in the design and fabrication of steel structures for a wide range of applications is seeking an experienced and qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator to join its fabrication team based in Richlands.
With over 25 years in operation, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and reliable service across the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes to Australian Standards
- Prepare materials for fabrication, including marking out, measuring, and setup
- Conduct welding inspections and quality checks to ensure structural integrity and compliance
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with production, QA, and supervisory staff to meet manufacturing schedules
- Identify and report faults, defects, or process improvements
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator.
- Experience with structural steel and aluminum.
- MIG and TIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
