Automotive Technician

Auto Masters Enfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

• Available to work Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings
• Learn and grow through hands-on training with management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Take charge of servicing, repairing and maintaining both new and used vehicles.
• Remove, inspect, repair and refit engine, transmission, steering, suspension and other mechanical components where required.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using suitable testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out scheduled, logbook, major and minor servicing in line with manufacturer requirements.
• Inspect vehicle components, identify worn or damaged parts, and repair or replace them where necessary.
• Test and adjust repaired components to ensure vehicles operate safely and correctly.
• Deliver top-notch workmanship on every vehicle.
• Follow the correct procedures and standards when performing warranty work.
• Use workshop manuals, technical information and scan tools to assist with fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Keep workshop tools, hoists and equipment in safe working condition.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including job cards and detailed records of servicing and repairs carried out.
• Handle oils, fluids and workshop materials in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.
• Always adhere to workplace health and safety policies.
