Leader for their Port Adelaide location.

This is not your typical Assistant Manager role. We're looking for someone who thrives on the shop floor, loves the challenge of achieving targets and knows how to bring out the best in the people around them.

The Opportunity Joining an established national retail business, you'll play a key role in driving sales, developing your team and creating a high-performance store environment.

You'll work closely with the Store Manager, taking ownership of sales-floor performance while building your leadership capability.
With future leadership succession opportunities on the horizon, this position offers a genuine pathway into Store Management for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading from the front, driving personal sales and inspiring the team to achieve more.
• Coaching and developing team members to improve sales performance.
• Driving key retail KPIs, including ATV, IPS, conversion and customer engagement.
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales through effective product recommendations and add-on selling.
• Creating an energetic, customer-focused sales environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising and store standards.
• Taking ownership of the shop floor and confidently stepping into leadership when required.

What We're Looking For You're commercially driven, competitive and genuinely enjoy selling.

You don't wait for customers to approach you. You create opportunities, build relationships and know how to close a sale.
Ideally, you'll bring:

• Proven success in a sales-focused retail environment.
• A strong understanding of retail KPIs and sales performance.
• Confidence in customer engagement, upselling and closing sales.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or leading others.
• A proactive, energetic and results-driven approach.
• The ability to motivate others and lead by example.
• Strong commercial awareness and accountability.
• Genuine ambition to progress into Store Management.

Experience across automotive, consumer electronics, lifestyle, sporting goods or other high-performance retail environments would be highly regarded.
